Dress & Accessory Shopping

  1. Begin wedding dress shopping early. Some gown designers can take six to eight months to deliver a dress.

Look through magazines to determine what styles you like, but also go shopping with an open mind. Very often the gown consultants can direct you to a style that you didn’t consider but would be perfect for you.

Don’t shop with too many people. Listening to several opinions on what you should and should not wear can be very confusing and very stressful.

Make an appointment with the bridal shop. You want to have the gown consultant’s undivided attention.

Saturday is the busiest day at most gown salons. If possible, schedule an appointment for an alternative time so you will have a more relaxed atmosphere.
